Mary Davis ~
As an industry veteran, Mary has forged positive long-term relationships in the Oregon wine industry and local distribution network, and brings insight at the winery level and knowledge of the distribution channel. Mary's background includes an Industrial Engineering and Management Science degree from Northwestern and eleven years of business management with a focus on sales, marketing and public relations in the food, wine and hospitality industries. She moved to the Portland area to pursue her love of food and wine. After stints in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Mary was the Programs Manager for the Oregon Wine Advisory Board, then became the Director of Sales and Marketing for Beaux Frères. Upon leaving Beaux Frères, Mary founded Oregon Brand Management.
Jim Closson~
Mary's business partner and husband Jim Closson was born in the heart of the Willamette Valley, McMinnville, Oregon. Jim brings a strong background in non-profit business administration with a variety of skills including professional grant writing, membership administration, volunteer coordination, public relations, and logistics. Jim is a dedicated environmental conservationist and worked for seven years in roles to preserve the native habitat of his home state. He too decided to follow his passion for food and wine and worked harvest with both Beaux Frères and Brick House until launching Oregon Brand Management with Mary in 2004.
